Lacrosse Stick STX
The “J” shape was the traditional shape for the Lacrosse Stick and they were made from a solid piece of hickory.
When manufacturers switched to making the sticks from man-made material the sticks broke at the base of the “J” shape. STX came up with the idea of closing the loop – which is what this patent is for – which gave it strength.
This is the basic shape of the Lacrosse Sticks used today.
